Welcome to the blog site of Schemmer Studios. As this is the coldest day of the year, i'm working on the computer next to my wood stove and favorite [only] cat "Hairry". I've been planning and schemeing with Joan about the upcoming year of the Sand Painters. As you can see - i have a temporary link to a blog and page on my web site. please use the blog.

had a great workshop on the 20th of april with 80 todd county school teachers and assistants. we did print making on clay and then turned the plates into hand made vessels. they are very colorful. i think i finally have the colorations right. now it is time to play.

okay, directions to turtle acres: no matter whether u are coming from sparks or from valentine. Drive north on HWY 12, to the six mile marker.. (the little green one) turn left if you are faced north, turn right if you are faced south. drive up the hill 1/4 of a mile, we are the grey house on the hill on the north side of the road, with a steel barn and big patures on the east and west side of the driveway. call me if you are lost. 322-3136. I will try and get balloons up at the turn off and at the bottom of the drive.
